Keep in mind this is a very cheap attempt, I’m not looking for anything expensive or professional quality.

Basically I am looking to add at least one more layer to the suit. The main thing I need is something harder, like plastic or rubber. My idea was to cut out pieces of thin plastic sheets and sew them on with a final leather layer on top. What kinds of plastics are out there that are flexible and durable to keep it’s shape. Is plastic the only way to go?

Are there any other sorts of materials for a finishing layer? Latex? Polyester? Something that has a small glare, but not metal looking, although that would be fine too.

The main image I want is kind of a modern armor, something like what The Batman wears in his movies.

Ever wonder where the story of the 3rd Spiderman movie came from?

Well I think maybe part of the story resembles 3 episodes from the cartoon.

If you ever seen the episodes of the cartoon called The Alien Costume, Parts 1, 2, & 3…

Then you can tell that the whole thing with the symbite and black spidey suit resembles the backbone of the story in the movie in almost every sort of way!

I think that’s totally cool, because I’ve haven’t seen most or all of the Spiderman cartoon show… and I just recently watched the episodes The Alien Costume!
