Captain America WWII Costume Help – What type of coat is this and what are the goggle thing called?

I’m planing on making a costume of the version of Captain America from the image below. There are only 2 problems i’m having.
1) What type of coat is he wearing?
2) What are the goggle mask thing he wears called?
Any help would be very great full

Any hope for Superman movies?

Alright, now i cant be the only one who was utterly disappointed in Superman Returns, there has got to be something to redeem him. Especially with batman revolutionizing the way that we see super hero movies on DC comic’s side as opposed to Marvel, so with the man of steel there had to be a way to bring him back WITHOUT another recap of his rise to superpowered greatness.

They should not do another origin story. Superman’s origin is perhaps the most well known of all superheroes. Even people that don’t read comics know how Superman got on earth. He’s just that well known. If they do want that, I hope they do it like they did in the latest Hulk film. Perhaps in the opening credits. Or just as a flashback/nightmare sequence. Just let Superman be an established already. People know him. Read about him in the paper. He’s saving people and stopping everyday mundane crimes. A superman Year one If you will. He is yet to face his first “super” villain.

No Lex Luthor yet. Have him in the movie but let him play as a secondary character. Setting him up for future films. Let lex be the ruthless business man this time. No, buffoon that’s going after more “land”. How about Brainiac as his first villain? Giving the man of steel a lot of epic trouble but ultimately giving hints, setting up a bigger villain for another film. There is always Zod but it has been done though. I’m thinking of Darkseid. A foe so terrible that it has the man of steel second guessing his very abilities. Putting a dent in that confidence. Superman’s real weakness is him not being able to be everywhere at once. Darkseid uses that to full extent when trying to take over Earth.

Also don’t make Superman all powerful. He has yet to discover the limit of his invulnerability. It would make for some good drama. He can get knocked around pretty good too by Super villains. He’s still “learning” his craft. Again a Year one type of thing.

I feel pretty good about Christopher Nolan “Godfathering” The production of the new Superman film. According to reports it will not be a sequel to Superman Returns. So, this is yet another Superman Reboot. Hope they will get it right this time.
