Captain America WWII Costume Help – What type of coat is this and what are the goggle thing called?
I’m planing on making a costume of the version of Captain America from the image below. There are only 2 problems i’m having.
1) What type of coat is he wearing?
2) What are the goggle mask thing he wears called?
Any help would be very great full

What are your opinions on the new direction of Wonder Woman?
DC has decided to ‘revitalize’ WW. I don’t really know why, WW was already a brilliant iconic superheroine, with an incredible back story. I have recently seen that they are giving her a more modern look (which looks alot like Wonder Girl’s outfit) and a new backstory where she wasn’t raised as an Amazon and her mother and most of her people have been wiped out. I can see where they are coming from kind of, but honestly I think they should just leave the character alone. There have been many attempts in the comic world to ‘modernize’ comic icons to look more stylish and hip. For those of you who need a reminder let’s look back to Armored Spiderman, Daredevil, and Captain America. These along with many other attempts have been utter failures in many fan’s eyes.
I was just wondering what were some other opinions out there.

Mega-Fail! Didn’t they learn anything about that hack Straczynski after he ruined Spider-Man? Nothing? Hint: As a comics writer, he S…U…C…K…S! And Babylon 5, seriously, was pretty bad, too (maybe that’s why he’s writing comics now instead of having moved on to motion pictures??? Hmmm?). And don’t even get me started on Jim Lee’s costume “reboot”. Duh-whaaa???? Did he just go through his old files from the mid-90′s and randomly pull out something? Next thing you know, DC’ll give Superman a mullet… uh… nevermind. At least they corrected that disaster, as well as his electric disco suit misfire as well. I’m guessing in a few years, after JMS has managed to squeeze out maybe 3 issues of Wonder Woman (I can give slow artists a pass, but writers? You’re LAZY JMS!) and becomes bored with it, he’ll move on to destroy another beloved character (“Hey! What if Reed and Sue Richards get a divorce and Reed buys a Corvette and starts going to clubs all the time?”) and someone else will bring back the WW we all know and love. The same goes for Superman not flying anymore…is JMS getting story advice from Jon Peters now?

Where can I get a 1940′s military costume for women?
I want a 1940′s military costume for Halloween. I’m going for the look of the girl in “Captain America.” I don’t know if they would have it in any costume store.
You should look online via yahoo search for 1940′s WAC or WAVE uniform costume.
