Need help with kids costume!! ?

So every year I do a theme for my kids costume for halloween and this year I can’t decide what to do..here are my ideas! Also if anyone can time of any good ones besides mine I would love to hear.

Help with sewing with a particular fabric ?

So, I’m starting quite early on my Halloween Costume, I’m going to be Wonder Woman. :] and the shorts I have are blue Spandex/Nylon, stretchy, and I want to put white stars on them (fabric stars). But I’m not sure how to do that, because I have a few concerns – (1) if the stars fray. (2) what type of fabric to use for the stars. (3) if I should sew or iron them on, but if iron them, will it melt my shorts ? (4) how to sew them, because won’t I need to stretch them FIRST, and THEN sew them on so they will won’t rip or something when I stretch them ?

use polyester stars and sew them on but stretch them out first. and i would say where them to bed or something underneath your pajamas or something
