The Man in the Iron Mask
$3.56
Footnotes in movie books are likely to reduce this swashbuckling adventure down to a simple description: it was the first movie to star Leonardo DiCaprio after the phenomenal success of Titanic. As such it automatically attracted a box-office stampede of Leo’s young female fans, but critical reaction was deservedly mixed. Having earned his directorial debut after writing the Oscar-winning script f…

Miami Vice – Season Two
$10.95
In its second season, Miami Vice walks that fine line between hip and cool. Hip fades, but cool is timeless. Then, as now, it doesn’t get much cooler than this groundbreaking and trendsetting series’ promise of a “life of adventure, exciting folks, and exotic locales,” to quote one sardonic character. But the compelling stories, cinematic trappings, and lightning-in-a-bottle chemistry between cost…

Would it be nerdy to be Batgirl for Halloween?
I’m a 13 year old girl, and I really like Batman (please don’t laugh!). I want to be Batgirl for Halloween, but my 15-year-old sister says I shouldn’t because it’s geeky.
Do YOU think it’s nerdy? O.o
And if not, do you know of a good, MODEST Batgirl costume for teen girls? (Even a child’s costume would work – I can still wear a kids’ XL) Every one I’ve seen is really immodest.
First of all, I LOVE batman and i don’t think it’s that geeky to because lots of people enjoy DC or Marvel comics. Second of all you might be best off making a costume. Below are some links to good ones along with descriptions on how it was made. Any way, good luck! I really hope this helps!

Batman – Mask of the Phantasm
$4.32
Although the live-action Batman franchise faltered artistically after Tim Burton gave up control, the slack was taken up by the Saturday morning cartoon show, whose creators are responsible for this feature film. Though a cartoon, Batman: Mask of the Phantasm is less cartoonish than the popular ’60s TV show (which spawned its own movie, Batman: The Movie). Mask of the Phantasm combines the noir o…

Scooby-Doo Meets the Harlem Globetrotters
$4.96
Timeless, captivating fun for children and fine nostalgic nonsense for adults, the Harlem Globetrotters episodes from the Scooby-Doo canon border on goofy anarchy. During the four-year run of The New Scooby-Doo Movies on 1970s television, the Mystery, Inc. gang of Fred, Velma, Daphne, Shaggy, and the preternaturally skillful canine hero Scooby-Doo hooked up with cartoon versions of many real-life …

What are some marvel/dc characters that dont have a specifict costume? ( dress casual )?
just curious, because when i think about superheroes i think about captain america, wolverine, iron man but they all have a uniform/costume thing. any heroes that dresses regular/casual?
There are a few that dress casually, but you’re right, most have costumes. The ones I can come up with off the top of my head are:
Luke Cage (Marvel)
Professor Xavier (Marvel)
The Hulk (Marvel) – Just shorts, haha!
Jonah Hex (DC) – Not really a superhero…more of a western cowboy
The Joker (DC) – He never really has a constant costume
Lex Luthor (DC)
The Question (DC)
There are more, I just can’t really think of them. Both Marvel and DC have character pages though, so you can look through all the characters if you really want to find more.
